After registration you can choose one or several game worlds (realms)- Virtonomics Entrepreneur, Virtonomics Tycoon or Virtonomics Business War. These realms were created at different time, therefore their level of economic development, update time, game geography, goods variety etc. differ as well. Servers exist independently: you cannot transfer funds, enterprises or qualification. However, you can use same account to play in different realms. To register a new character in one of the realms, go to «My office/Games» and click on «Start game» in a section of suitable realm. In this case you'll have several game characters in different game worlds. To switch server, go to the top right of your screen and select realm (next to the game date).

Производство подразделяется на первичное (добыча полезных ископаемых, лесозаготовка, выращивание сельскохозяйственной продукции) и вторичное (производство полуфабрикатов и конечной продукции, животноводство). Наиболее эффективно выстраивать вертикальные цепочки по производству конечной продукции, в которую могут быть вовлечены несколько производственных направление. При старте нового хода игровая ситуация начинает пересчитываться, и после окончания пересчета дата игры и игровая ситуация изменяется одновременно для всех игроков.
 
Длительность пересчета может варьироваться в зависимости от активности игроков и объема изменений глобального мира. Никакие изменения в игре во время пересчета невозможны, доступ ко всем функциям управления и аналитики закрыт.
 
  
Virtonomics™ time goes 7 times faster than the real time — one real day is equal to seven virtual days. Game situation is updated once per 24 hours. Thus, shifting it to new game date (additional 1 week). You can visit Virtonomics website any time you want to make changes in your business or to study new data and make proper decisions. After the update (at night, Moscow time) the game date will shift for all players simultaneously. To see more about the time of update, go to «My office — Games».

Time in the game is discrete. Depending on the game mode - 1 (classic model) or 24 (intensive model) moves are done in one real day. Each turn is equal to one game week (7 virtual days). The chronology of the game is continuous, the current game date of the game, in the upper right corner of the panel, counts from January 1, 00. During the day, after the recalculation is complete, you free to make changes to the activities of your enterprises, study new information and make appropriate decisions at any convenient time.

After the end of the recalculation, the game date and the game situation changes simultaneously for all players.
